States use force, carry out law enforcements, conduct maritime interceptions, impose naval blockade, launch naval bombing, or conduct hostilities at the seas and oceans. Individuals also conduct various forms of crimes at the seas and oceans, including acts of piracy, maritime terrorism, and slave trade.
