|Professor Surya Subedi appointed as an Honorary Queen’s Counsel by Her Majesty, the Queen of the United Kingdom|
Her Majesty, the Queen of the United Kingdom, has appointed Professor Surya Subedi as an Honorary Queen’s Counsel (QC) in recognition of his contribution to the development of international law and to the advancement of human rights. The announcement was made on 13 January 2017 by the British Government in London. Professor Subedi is the Chair of the AsianJIL Editorial Board; Chair of the AsianSIL Research Committee and member of the AsianSIL Advisory Council.

Position: 3 Fellowships in International Law or International Relations
The Berlin Potsdam Research Group “The International Rule of Law – Rise or Decline?“ invites applications for three Fellowships from 1 September 2017. This is a fixed-term position for a period of 12 months which may be extended by up to a further year. Fellows will work at Humboldt University Berlin. They will co-operate with the group’s senior researchers and participate in the academic ex-change of the Research Group.
